The wire used in our reinforcing mesh has a ribbed profile. This ribbed profile creates improves bonding to concrete, which when compared to smooth wire profiles, minimizes any concrete cracking that may occur as a result of concrete shrinkage.
Our Ribbed Square Mesh is a Class L reinforcing mesh made from 500 MPa welded ribbed wires and complies with AS/NZS 4671 : 2001 Steel reinforcing materials. Sheets are available in 6 m x 2.4 m.
Always consult with an engineer before choosing the mesh best suited for your application, as using the wrong size mesh could potentially result in failure to your concrete structure.
